Recognize Your Own Story
Answer six plain-language questions. Each one explains something important about low vision that most people aren't told.
Can you read your pill bottles without a magnifier?
Have you stopped cooking because you're afraid of the stove or burns?
Do you feel unsteady moving through your home, especially in dim light?
Have you reduced driving, or stopped entirely, due to vision changes?
Are you finding it harder to recognize faces or read expressions in conversation?
Has your doctor referred you for low vision rehabilitation or occupational therapy?
What Actually Happens When You Call
Low vision rehabilitation is a real clinical service — not a pamphlet, not a hotline. Here is what we actually do.

4–6
sessions avg.
to meaningful, measurable improvement in daily function
We Come to Your Home
Our occupational therapist visits your kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and entry — the places where vision loss actually happens. We assess lighting, contrast, layout, and the specific tasks you've lost.
We Build a Personal Plan
Not a generic handout — a room-by-room plan with specific tools, lighting adjustments, and techniques matched to your diagnosis, your home, and the three things you most want to do again.
We Teach, Not Just Prescribe
Sessions are hands-on. You practice reading your actual medication bottles, cooking on your actual stove, navigating your actual hallway. Skills learned in context stick. Most clients see meaningful progress within 4–6 sessions.
We Coordinate Your Care
We send detailed progress notes to your ophthalmologist, primary care provider, or VA case manager. You don't have to explain yourself twice. We speak the language your medical team already uses.
What People Get Back
Not vague improvements. Specific things. Making coffee. Reading the morning paper. Recognizing your grandchild's face.

I hadn't cooked a meal in eight months. I was afraid of the stove, afraid of the knives, afraid of everything. After four sessions with Clarity, I made Thanksgiving dinner for my family. My daughter cried. I cried. My therapist would probably say that was the goal all along.
I was the one searching at 2 AM. My father got his diagnosis and his ophthalmologist said 'there's nothing more we can do' and handed him a pamphlet. Clarity was the first place that talked to us like people, not patients. They came to his apartment the same week.
I coordinate care for forty veterans with diabetic retinopathy. Clarity is the only low vision rehab provider I refer to without hesitation. Their documentation is thorough, their response time is fast, and their outcomes are real. My veterans call me to say thank you.
Request Your Home Assessment
A Clarity therapist will call you within one business day. Most assessments are scheduled within the week. No referral required — though we welcome physician and VA referrals.
